My name is Douglas James Jr. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media w/ Ad Design. I have an Master's Degree in Instructional Design from Prairie View A&M University as well.

 

I started my photography business in 2012 while trying to capture an event at Stephen F. Austin with a Nikon digital camera.  I knew then that my creativity had been taken to higher heights.  It takes a creative person to visualize and take a simple background and turn into an imagery.

My philosophy is simple:  Capture the moment because you may not ever get it again. I excel at what I do in this field of photography and also handling even the most difficult of clients. On the set, I'm in total control but definitely open for various ideas. My imagination takes flight and speaks for itself.
